How long does Acterys implementation take?

Where does Proceptio work, and in what language?

Proceptio is a European software studio working across Europe and with clients further afield. Projects run in English; the team also supports Croatian. Delivery, support and review calls run in European business hours, in the same timezone band as most of our clients.

In 1951 the philosopher Justus Buchler coined a word for something bigger than experience. Perception is seeing the world. Proception is the whole loop: you take the world in, you weigh it, you act, and what you did becomes part of how you see next.

Perception: You see the number.
Experience: You know what it meant last time.
Proception: You read it, weigh it, act on it, and the outcome changes what you watch next.

We knew the word when we chose the name. Most business software stops at perception: it shows you what happened. Everything we build is aimed at the rest of the loop, software that reads the numbers, helps you judge them, and acts under rules you set.

Nobody starts a software company doing enterprise AI. Each turn took us one step closer to the customer's numbers, and each one was paid for by the work before it.

We started with web applications

Custom web applications for large companies in our own market: order entry, B2B portals and webshops, stock, quoting and queue systems, wired into the ERP that was already running the business. Production systems from the first year, and many of them are still running today. If ours stopped, their orders stopped.

Proceptio is founder-led, not founder-only. None of this was built by two people: the products, the client systems and the assistants running on top of them are the team's work.

The two owners are in it as engineers, writing code, taking customer calls and answering for outcomes on delivered work. Boris and Dubravko are brothers, and have run Proceptio together since 2016.

Whoever scopes your work is on the team that builds it, and the people who write the systems are the same people who answer when something needs to change. No account managers, and no handover to a delivery unit you have not met.
